Sawbill

After seeing the Goosander yesterday at DBCP in overcast conditions, I thought I would call in today with the sun shining...He's a cracker! There is usually one at Morpeth too that eats chips. Today's just kept having a wander up the boat ramp to get some bread and corn? Cant be doing his teeth much good...

That's a stunning bird, and the shot of him with his beak open as he he snarls, just wow! Fabulous duck. Strange to hear of such tame behaviour from them though.

Brilliant shots of a great bird Stewart. They come for bread, duck food, etc. thrown by tourists at Windermere.

Cheers all, there is often a drake at Morpeth that fights Mallard for a chip. It always seems odd though to see a tame sawbill....
