Who? Where?

Stewart, a Northumbrian born and bred, I have been interested in natural history for as long as I can remember.

When I'm not working, most of my time is spent looking for, and at, wildlife of any form. No longer in my 50's, I'm still as keen as ever to get out and about in the countryside at every available opportunity.

I take photos, but I'm no photographer and I like to draw and paint my subjects though I'm not an artist either!

I have served two stints on the Northumberland and Tyneside Bird Club county records committee and served almost 10 years with a ringers C permit, letting it lapse when I realised it was stopping me from watching wildlife.

In recent years I've been asked to do talks for local wildlife groups including Alnwick Wildlife Group, Alnwick Natural History Society, Ponteland Wildlife Group, Gateshead Wildlife Group, Northumberland and Tyneside Bird Club, North Northumberland Bird Club etc.

I live in North Northumberland with my partner, Jane and our terrier, Peggy...

Steadily getting more disillusioned with 'the scene'...its age I suppose.
